I choose to dwell on good, happy thoughts, as I spring into the weekend. Believing amazing things are coming my and your way.
Recently I shared thoughts on Instagram which started a much-needed conversation. When I was younger, I often felt not enough. I thought I needed to be something to be noticed by someone. Society labels women, but without our consent, they cannot tell us who we are.
I have held myself to unrealistic expectations for years which led to disappointments, but the only expectation we should have is to be better today than we were yesterday. A modern-day woman who stands out from the crowd is a queen-conscious woman. That is, you, my queen.
Let’s talk about you.
QUEENOLOGY should be a subject. It is a state of mind in which you think, act, and live like royalty. Whether we notice it or not, we manifest our thoughts into reality. A woman’s presence can be tangibly felt. The energy we carry speaks louder than any spoken word. It is impossible to attract what is yours by being forceful or anxious.
A queen who knows her worth, sits on an invisible throne. Her reign is powerful, and she is aware of her thoughts. She understands the power of her mind, and filters what happens internally. Her inner world reflects on her expressions, reactions, and poise.
A queen does not need to yell or scream to be heard. Her aura, presence and inner atmosphere translates into the room. You can tangibly feel it. Little words are needed. This type of queen is rare. She is far more precious than rubies, which are difficult to find, and often hidden in her purpose. Her future is in her hands, and she works diligently to bring ideas to life.
Many times, I will not necessarily remember what someone said, but I will remember how they made me feel. Be aware of your inner world, queen. Everyone around you can sense you are your life and joy, or the opposite. As much as year 2020 has encouraged us to wear masks in public, may I suggest you take off invisible masks?
You are irreplaceable. Not a single soul in this world has or will ever have your set of fingerprints. You are unique and enough. You do not need to strive to earn affection or attention. You existing and breathing is a gift to this world.
Do not ever let anyone convince you of taking off your invisible crown. You wear it like no one else, and I need you to step out as the queen you are and quietly let the world know, you are royalty. No need to compare or be jealous. Each one of us is different and shines a magical light. As you take up space, make room for other queens to rise and take their throne as well. Their success is your success.
A modern-day queen is a leader. This queen is you.
